Private business, covering also travelling and tourism, became a new phenomenon of this century, bringing also new dimensions for the next millennium in facilitating human contacts, helping people learn one another a little better and share this planet in peace.

Tourism became a matter of considerable commercial interest, providing wide space to a vast family of travel agencies, supra-national companies, insurance houses, and numerous private businesses.

Nevertheless, tourism should also be understood as a service function in mediating conferences, congresses, trade fairs, official visits abroad, and invitation of foreign visitors to any such event.

Tourism as a global pastime is related to a variety of standard or exclusive sports, such as trekking, hiking, mountain climbing, skiing, swimming, rafting, para gliding, surfing, etc.

Getting to a desired destiny we need either a strong pair of legs, or a bicycle, motor bike, car, train, coach, plane, ship, and maybe a space shuttle soon.
