Incheba organised another annual event of the largest Next year's CONECO, RACIOENERGIA and CLIMATHERM trade fair will last five days until Saturday, at no extra charge |
The gates
of the Slovakia largest trade fair were closed at the end of March 1999.
The 20th annual event of CONECO, international trade fair of civil engineering,
the 9th annual event of RACIOENERGIA, international trade fair of power
efficiency and rational use of energy, and the 3rd annual event of CLIMATHERM,
international specialised exhibition of air conditioning and ventilation
took place under the auspices of Jozef Migaš, SR National Council Leader
and Mikuláš Dzurinda, SR Prime Minister.
The trade fair gained an important position in the framework of Central and Eastern Europe. An unusually large number of 975 exhibitors from the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Hungary, Poland, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Slovenia, and Slovakia participated at the fair this year. Companies from the USA and Netherlands attended this year for the first time.
Out of the overall trade fair grounds area of 125 thousand square meters the exhibition area took up 78 thousand square meters. New D and D2 exhibition halls were added this year to provide for increased demand on indoor exhibition facilities, expanding the area by over 8 000 square meters.
The isolating materials, windows, doors, flooring and panelling materials, sanitary technology and roofing became prevailing commodities at the CONECO trade fair. Equally interesting was the offer of building materials, construction implementation, scaffolding, tools and lighting.
Also RACIOENERGIA, focused on one of the chief current problems - energy economy and identification of new energy saving programmes - recorded an increased interest of the exhibitors and professional public. The exhibits were at the centre of interest of the trade fair visitors who had the opportunity to get acquainted with heating equipment, regulating systems, valves and power distribution systems. The exhibition concept was suitably complemented by air conditioning, ventilation and cooling exhibits.
In co-operation with the SR Ministry of Development and Civil Works, Slovak Power Agency, and the Association of Construction Entrepreneurs of Slovakia several accompanying programmes took place during the trade fair. The first annual event of the apprentice competition demonstrating their skills in the G2 hall may have launched a new important tradition. The trade fair success confirmes also the fact that CONECO and RACIOENERGIA will take place also in Košice in October. According to Alexander Rozin, Incheba general director, next year's the trade fair will last five days, including Saturday, with no extra charge, for the benefit of visitors, professional public, and exhibitors, to efficiently use the time needed for their communication.
