Business strategy of any company cannot be complete without a well-considered
marketing communication. In an attempt to support stimuli in this field
our editorial board decided to open a regular "Marketing and publicity"
column in our Slovak Trade Forum magazine. Its task will not be only to
inform on the basic features of this significant component of the economic
development, but also to introduce profiles of interesting marketing media
and publicity agencies, for you to learn about their methods of work in
successful implementation of the marketing goals. We also provide presentation
space to our media and publicity partners. We believe that the exchange
of information in this sensitive, demanding, and yet inevitable activity
can be mutually beneficial. To start with we bring a brief overview of
the Slovak publicity market written by a renown author, president of the
Slovak Publicity Society, Doc. PhDr. Pavol Hornak, CSc., and also the first
profile of this column. It is the B.O.A.T. Publicity account, presented
by its director, Ladislav Brat.
