Korado motor cycle, product of Povazske Strojarne (machine works) Manet a.s. Povazska Bystrica, was declared to be the most favourite 1998 motor cycle in the Czech Republic. In 1998, the firm produced 10,000 motor cycles. According to 1999 entrepreneurial intention, 8,000 motor cycles are to be produced there, 85 per cent of them are to be exported to foreign countries. Overall number of motor cycle suppliers is seventeen, including China, South Africa and the USA, where first 500 pieces were exported this year. Manet company offers seven basic types with various efficient parameters and technical equipment. After gaining of ISO 9002 certificate, firm's products fulfil European criteria of security and ecological operation. Providing of the two-year guarantee on motor is an expression of high quality. Mainly its effective motor with low consumption of fuel and aerodynamic character of motor cycle contribute to favour among customers. Sales on domestic market is relatively weak due to low purchasing power of citizens.
