Trilateral Conference in Budapest

On February 15, 1991, a session of supreme representatives of the Czechoslovak Federative Republic (CSFR), Hungary and Poland took place in Budapest. The delegations of the participating states, represented by their presidents, prime ministers and ministers of foreign affairs participated in a plenary session in the Hungarian Parliament. The CSFR was represented by Vaclav Havel, Marian Calfa and Jiri Dienstbier. At midday of February 15, the documents were festively signed at Visegrad Castle.

After signing of the documents, the heads of the delegations laid wreaths to the commemorative plate reminiscent the previous trilateral session which took place 656 years ago.
